Blue Door Cycles is an independent bike shop in Crystal Palace, South London. There has been a bike shop at this premises since the 1920s and as such, Blue Door Cycles has a strong reputation as one of the best bike shops in the area. In fact, you can still see some of the original tiles from the dairy house that was taken over by the Talbot Frameworks bike company.
The current owners have been working on the shop since 2010 and aim to maintain Blue Door Cycles' outstanding local prestige as a one-stop-shop for everything cycling related. It appears that they've done just that - their impressive range of products includes; saddles (Brooks & others); helmets; lights; panniers, racks and bags; locks; pumps and, of course, a vast selection of premium quality bikes for all ages and occasions.
Pop in and chat to the amiable and hospitable owner, David, who will be more than happy to give you a tour of the shop and re-tell some of it's defining history.
