Halcyon Books offers new, second-hand, and antiquarian books and is based on Lee High Road, Lewisham. As a family-run business, they started out in 1990 as a stall in Greenwich market, before opening a shop in Greenwich which they ran successfully for 21 years.
Having relocated to Lewisham, Halcyon Books have established themselves as a friendly, community bookshop that offers a wealth of books to satisfy any keen book-lover. Amongst their collections include: Second-hand books, Rare books, New books, Antiquarian books, First edition books, Prints, Maps and much more. Halcyon offer a buying service too, so if you have any books you'd like to sell, they will be more than happy to offer you a fair price.
With an open plan seating area, coffee, tea and light snacks, and a spacious gravelled garden, Halcyon Books is a great place to relax, read, or socialise with friends. Their friendly and approachable staff will help you with any requests you have and will make you feel at home.
