Blackheath Fireworks
Saturday 5 November - Free Event
Another rare free fireworks event – you get a great deal over in Blackheath with the funfair kicking off at 12pm. The display itself will be at 8pm set to music and with one of the widest spectator areas of any fireworks events it tends not to be totally crammed. Although it is a free event, numbers are controlled on the night. You also get spectacular views of these fireworks from nearby Greenwich Point. More information on the event can be found on the Lewisham Council website.
Crystal Palace Park Fireworks
Saturday 5 November
Crystal Palace Fireworks is one of the biggest bonfire night events in London – complete with plenty of food and drink stalls to keep you replenished during the evening. Gates open at 6pm (last entry 8.15pm) with the children’s show happening at 7pm and the main family show at 8.30pm. Advance tickets available via their website: adults £7.50, children £5.10, family ticket £19.80. Note, there will be no on the gate tickets available.
Southwark Fireworks
Saturday 5 November
One of London’s few free firework displays is taking part in Southwark Park. Whilst it’s free to attend it is ticketed so make sure you get one asap via the council’s website. Priority is given to Southwark residents. Gates open at 5pm (last entry at 6.30pm) with food, drink, children’s funfair and entertainment available till 8.30pm.
Wimbledon Park Fireworks
Thursday 3 November
One of the few events not taking place on actual Guy Fawkes Night, there are two displays at this event – one at 6.45pm aimed more at families and younger audiences and one at 8.30pm for later night owls. The park will also become home to a funfair and several stalls across the evening. Tickets can be purchased in advance via Merton Council - £8 for adults, £6 for juniors and £25 for a family ticket. Slightly more expensive tickets are available on the gates – subject to availability.
Morden Park Fireworks
Saturday 5th November
As the second leg of Merton Council’s Firework display this year, Morden Park will be offering the same two displays as Wimbledon’s, but with the added benefit of being set in a natural bowl, perfect for this kind of event. Tickets are available via Merton Council.
Battersea Park Fireworks
Saturday 5 November
Enjoy delightful views over the banks of the River Thames at this family-friendly event organised by Wandsworth Council in one of south London’s most pretty parks.
