Poured Lines
The Western end of Southwark Street in London SE1.
If you’re looking to stumble upon an incredible piece of art, hunt down the Poured Lines painting down Southwark Street. It is the largest painting to be publicly displayed outdoors in the United Kingdom and therefore is a must-see for any art fans in the area. It was painted in 2006 by Ian Davenport, who is an English abstract painter. His signature technique that can be seen in Poured Lines, is pouring paint onto a tilted surface and letting gravity spread the paint over the surface.
